February is

National Dental Health Month!

Celebrate it with us and join the fight against oral disease in your pet!

Does your pet have:

  • Bad Breath?
  • Yellow-brown crust on their teeth?
  • Red or discolored gums?
  • Refuses to eat? Particularly hard foods?
  • Changes in chewing habits?
  • Abnormal drooling?
  • Pawing or sensitivity of the mouth?
  • Swelling of the face?

Then your pet may have some form of periodontal disease present in their mouth.  An astounding 80% of dogs and 70% of cats show signs of oral disease by age 3 according to the American Veterinary Dental Society.  Periodontal disease is the most common problem found in dogs, particularly the smaller breeds such as Shih-Tzs, Chihuahuas, Schnauzers and Miniature Pinchers to name a few.  Cats can develop painful lesions.  Studies show that about 28% of domestic cats develop at least one of these painful lesions during their lifetime!

During the months of February and March we are discounting our Dental Packages and Extractions by 10% and for each dental that goes home, you and your pet will receive a Home Dental Kit that contains:

  • A size appropriate toothbrush and sample toothpaste
  • A sample of a CET chew
  • Dental Brochure on home care/how to brush your pet's teeth
  • Our Pets First brochure on how we do your pet's dental work
  • Breed appropriate sample of either Hills or Royal Canin's dental diet to try!
